Daphne Lowe, of Woodstock, a broker with Williamson Group Sotheby’s International Realty, was recently awarded the local Realtor of the Year award by the Windsor County Board of Realtors. Lowe, who also serves as president of the Windsor County Board of Realtors executive board, was recognized at the Vermont Realtors Achievement Awards dinner in Burlington on Oct. 7. She will be presented with an official award plaque at the Windsor County Board of Realtors annual meeting on Tuesday.

Dana Waters, of Reading, owner of Dark Horse Realty & Property Services in Reading, Vt., received the Windsor County Board of Realtors 2015 Good Neighbor Award for his volunteer work in the community. Most recently, Waters oversaw the installation of a new trail kiosk in South Woodstock. Waters received the award at the Vermont Realtors Achievement Awards dinner in Burlington on Oct. 7. He will be presented with an official award plaque at the Windsor County Board of Realtors annual meeting on Tuesday.

ARC Mechanical Contractors, of Bradford, Vt., has announced that three of the company’s employees have successfully completed Vermont and New Hampshire plumbing license examinations.

Jake Rhoades, of Taftsville, who holds the master plumber certification in Vermont, passed the master plumber’s exam in New Hampshire. Rhoades also holds New Hampshire and Vermont gas licenses. He has worked for ARC for almost four years.

Cole Sanborn, of Bradford, Vt., has passed the journeyman plumber’s exam for Vermont. Sanborn has worked for ARC for just over four years.

Andrew Smith, of Fitzwilliam, N.H., who holds the master plumber certification in Vermont, passed the master plumber’s exam in New Hampshire. Smith has worked for ARC for almost a year.
