Lebanon — Cioffredi & Associates, the physical therapy and rehabilitation practice on Etna Road, has received an honorable mention award in the 2015 Practice of the Year Contest sponsored by Advance for Physical Therapy & Rehab Medicine magazine.
Rehab Associates of Central Virginia earned top honors in the contest. Cioffredi & Associates was joined by practices in New York and Pennsylvania in the honorable mention category.
The contest recognizes practices “that stand out from their peers in customer satisfaction, clinical expertise, staff development and promotion of the rehab profession,” the company said in a news release.
“We are competing with substantial organizations, some of which have large numbers of multi-site clinics and resources,” Bill Cioffredi, founder of Cioffredi & Associates, said in the release. “It’s an honor to be considered at this level and in this category of practice excellence.”
Contest applicants are judged in a blind review by physical therapy practice owners who have won the award in years past. “Applicants must submit data showing financial growth, and outline how they are shaping the rehab profession while providing evidence-based care and creating a positive work environment in which their patients and staff are succeeding,” the release said.
Cioffredi & Associates, which marked its 30th anniversary last year, has a staff of 24. The Advance magazine article can be accessed at physical-therapy.advanceweb.com.
