The annual Career Day co-sponsored by Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and N.H. Health Careers Council in Concord, N.H., opened the doors to some 20 junior and senior students from area high schools on Oct. 17, 1968, for an inside look at the world of medicine. The program, designed to recruit future talent to meet the growing demand in the medical profession, conducted a day-long series of lectures and tours.
